GRAND FALLS, May 13, 2024 – On May 8th, the Grand Falls Police Force received two complaints from local dealers, after they were informed by a credit card provider that they had been victims of fraudulent transactions worth over $8,000.
The Grand Falls Police Force quickly shared the information with other police forces in the region, to prevent similar frauds in the future. As a result of this concerted effort, the Edmundston Police Force arrested three individuals shortly thereafter and conducted a search that led to the recovery of several stolen items, including those belonging to the Grand Falls dealers.
