UPDATE (March 5, 2025 @ 4:25 p.m.) - The drinking water service did not have to be shut off during today's work. There is therefore no boil water advisory for the area. Consequently, there is no need to boil water for human consumption. Thank you for your patience. --- Please be advised that on Tuesday, March 4, starting at 8 a.m., the Operations Department will begin work to repair a water break in the area of École Mgr-Lang, part of Tobique Rd, Gagnon St. and Lang St. in the Drummond neighbourhood. A temporary shutdown of water service and a boil-water advisory are anticipated. Affected homes will receive notices on their doors. Please follow the instructions issued for your safety. An update will be provided when the service is restored.
When water service is restored, all water intended for human consumption, formula and juice preparation, ice cube making, fruit and vegetable washing, cooking and dental hygiene must be boiled continuously for 1 minute. Water used for other domestic purposes does not need to be boiled. This notice is in force until further notice and is issued as a precautionary measure. The Municipality regrets any inconvenience this may cause.
